Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing materials for Engineering & Auxiliary outfitting in shipbuilding. Ensures timely availability of resources, coordinates with teams and suppliers, and maintains inventory control while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & Scheduling: Prepare work/material plans, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Material Management: Monitor inventory, track material flow, and coordinate storage and inspections.
• Procurement Coordination: Work with procurement teams to ensure timely material delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records, track material usage, and report shortages.
• Process Improvement: Optimize material handling processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture with Engineering & Auxiliary certification.
• Experience: 3-5 years in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain in marine, shipbuilding, or offshore industries.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of shipbuilding components, ability to read blueprints, familiarity with regulations (OSHA, NFPA).
• Software Proficiency: MS Office, MS Project, SAP, inventory management tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong organization, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
