Job Description
The Project Controller will oversee the entire PSV (Professional Services) function across the following areas:
1. Adherence to project delivery timelines and cadences: Ensure that projects are being delivered on time, alert for delays and do retrospectives on key reasons for timeline slippages
2. Budget adherence, Revenue monitoring, cost monitoring and improvement: Monitor PSV budget month-on-month for salary and vendor costs and liaise with Finance for monthly reviews. Ensure that projects are billed on time
3. Running internal projects for PSV: Run technical and commercial projects within PSV. Some examples are insourcing from a services vendor, Rolling out infra upgrades across clients, rolling out a new Project monitoring tool for PSV etc
4. PSV process improvement - Work on process improvement across PSV on areas of onboarding, cadences, KPI monitoring, internal handovers etc
5. Manpower utilization and forecasting - Monitor manpower utilisation (by sub-function) on each project and do a budget-vs-actual analysis to identify areas of improvement in manpower planning and pricing.
6. Ownership of vendor relationships - All PSV vendor relationships will be owned by the Project controller. This would involve contracting, invoicing and performance monitoring of external vendors
