Intern - Engineer IT (Bangalore)

About the Role

As an IT Support Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the IT infrastructure and helping resolve technical issues for end-users. This role will give you hands-on experience with IT support functions, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. You will work closely with our IT team to provide exceptional customer service to our employees, helping ensure seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with Technical Support: Provide front-line support for technical issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software for end-users.

- Troubleshoot Hardware and Software: Diagnose and resolve technical problems by applying effective troubleshooting techniques.

- Install and Configure Systems: Help set up new devices, install software, and configure applications as required.

- Maintain IT Documentation: Contribute to maintaining accurate records and documentation for all support-related activities, including tickets and resolutions.

- Inventory Management: Assist in managing IT assets and inventory, including onboarding/offboarding and organizing equipment and supplies.

- Support Network and Security: Work under the guidance of senior team members to help monitor and maintain network and security settings for end-user devices.

- Collaborate with Teams: Coordinate with IT engineers and other departments to ensure smooth communication and effective solutions.

Skills Qualifications

- Educational Background: Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools.

- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to approach technical issues logically and systematically to identify and resolve problems.

- Attention to Detail: Able to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to accuracy in documentation.

- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate, learn from senior team members, and contribute positively to team goals.
