Electrical Engineer || HVDC

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the overall performance of HVDC transmission systems.
• Participate in interaction with surrounding AC-networks and related AC-Network stability studies.
• Analyze and optimize the dynamic performance of HVDC systems, including the development of control algorithms.
• Support testing of control and protection systems in-house and during commissioning at various global sites.
• Work on tenders and order projects, providing support to the Sales department during the marketing phase.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Electric Power Engineering or Engineering Physics.
• 5-10 years of experience as an HVDC System Studies Engineer.
• Proficiency in software tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab, PSSE, and DIgSILENTs PowerFactory.
• Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and structured work approach.
• Ability to take responsibility for project tasks and ensure on-time delivery.
