Treasury Analyst

Job Description:

The position will assist the Treasurer in the Corporate Treasury and Cash Management function. A strong understanding of the treasury operations and their impact on the financial statements is a must.

Requirement:

• MBA or Bachelors degree in accounting, finance.
• A minimum of 2 to 9 years' experience in a treasury Operations.
• Experience with financial management systems, such as Hyperion, GFS
• Preferably having experience in working in MNC
• Good computer skills with programs such as Advanced MS Excel, Access and Power BI.
• Advanced Excel Skill Level, macros, data modelling, queries
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Would be added advantage if part of automation and Treasury back office operations
• Understanding of Treasury, Trade finance and bank operations
• Must be self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams as neede

Generic Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cash flow actuals & forecasting and all associated reporting
• Proficiency in managing multiple foreign Bank accounts.
• Perform root cause analysis on variances to forecasting and provide insights to the treasury team
• Observe and manage intercompany cash balance due to and due from, understand all intercompany cash mobilization opportunities
• Co-ordinate & Interact with all Finance sub Functions.
• Preparation of daily Cash utilization report
• Bank Relationship management
• Worked on Automation of process

Key Areas Of Responsibility

• Ensuring the seamless working of the automated bank statement integration with the Treasury Reporting System, by means of MT940 messages over SWIFT network
• Coordination with the local banking partners and setting up of the automated bank statement feeds.
• Monthly reconciliation of bank balances in the Consolidation system
• Follow-up with business units to resolve the variance in the reported for Cash Flow Actuals and Forecast.
• Reporting of the mismatches and the action plans to the Treasury team on a defined frequency
