Job Description

Primary Skills

Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing data center compute environments, with a strong emphasis on Windows Server, Unix/Linux, and ideally AIX platforms.

Experience in team leadership and management, including performance management and career development of team members.

In-depth knowledge of server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is highly desirable.

Secondary Skills

Infrastructure Management:Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server, Unix (including Linux variants), and AIX systems.

Performance Optimization:Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the compute infrastructure.

Security Management:Implement and enforce security best practices across all platforms to safeguard sensitive data and maintain regulatory compliance.

About The Role :

Backup and Recovery:Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for critical systems and data, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.

Vendor Management:Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and support services as needed.

Capacity Planning:Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to anticipate future compute requirements and ensure scalability of infrastructure.

Incident Management:Lead the resolution of escalated technical issues and participate in on-call rotation schedules as required.

Documentation and Compliance:Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements.
