Azure Windows Administrator

Job Description : Azure Administrator with Windows System Administrator Skills

• Provisioning and administration experience on Azure IaaS (compute, storage & network) / PaaS services.
  • Experience on troubleshooting windows in Azure environment.
  • Experience of Azure ARM Templates and make the necessary changes as per the need..
  • Experience in setting up monitoring, analytical, optimization tools (Azure Native Services).
  • Experience in Azure Subscription management, Azure Advisory & Azure cost management.
  • Good scripting knowledge on Windows PowerShell or Python is recommended.
  • In-depth knowledge on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Servers(Windows 2008/R2,2012/R2,2016/2019.)
  • Apply Windows OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis. Configure / add new services as necessary.
  • Debug/troubleshoot memory, filesystem issues etc.
  • Configure, Monitor & Perform Native Azure Back-ups and recovery.
  • Deploy applications, performance fine tuning, troubleshooting, maintain security, and automate routine procedures through scripting.
  • Strong knowledge on windows OS Troubleshooting. (Log collection, Log Analysis, Script creation and Scheduling etc).
  • Experience in systems administration supporting a medium to large scale Windows Server environment.

• Administrative User Account Reviews
• Coordinating with different lines of services with SLA.
• 3rd party vendor coordination for visit and troubleshooting
• Controlled shutdown and restart of services and dependencies
• Monthly check of assets against CMDB
• Daily Operating System alert handling and response
• Quarterly / half yearly password maintenance and scheduling
• Ticket Status Check and Update
