Job Description

About The Role :

The Document Controller is a member of the Quality department. S/he will liaise with all departments to provide the necessary document control and change management service in accordance with documented procedures.

Responsibilities:

Functional expert for Change Management process.

Resolve issues on SmartSolve for Change and Documentation Modules.

Liaise with Master Data Team on resolving issues in SAP for the ECO notifications.

Maintain procedures for Document Control and Change Control processes.

Maintain Change Management process as per procedure.

Review approvals and implement updates in a timely manner to support the various business units.

Complete hard copy requests in a timely manner and maintain distribution list on SmartSolve accordingly.

Work with the Quality Systems Manager on maintaining and improving the Change Management process.

Issue additional equipment numbers and maintain relevant systems with required data.

Maintain files for Document Management and archive when necessary.

Issue and collect documents to/from document control boards daily.

Report on the performance of process through weekly site metrics and monthly site metrics.

Provide cover in Quality Systems as required.

Comply with all Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

Primary Skills

Strong computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office, drawing package (e.g. CAD) and an ERP (preferably SmartSolve and SAP) system.

Highly organized with strong ability to prioritize tasks.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Formal Quality training an advantage.

Experience in maintaining a document control system within a regulated environment an advantage.
