Canopus GBS - SAP SD Consultant (5-7 yrs)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented SAP SD Consultant to join our dynamic team.

In this critical role, you will play a key part in helping our clients optimize their sales and distribution processes through the effective implementation and support of SAP SD solutions.

You will work closely with clients to understand their unique business requirements and translate them into successful SAP implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation:

- Actively participate in all phases of SAP SD projects, from initial assessment and requirements gathering to design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e., business analysts, developers, project managers) to ensure successful project delivery.

- Configure SAP SD modules to meet specific client requirements, including order management, pricing, delivery, invoicing, and customer master data.

Business Process Optimization:

- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement through the implementation of SAP SD best practices.

- Advise clients on optimal configuration and utilization of SAP SD functionalities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction.

- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proactively identify and address client concerns and challenges.

Technical Support:

- Provide ongoing support to clients on SAP SD related issues, including troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and answering user queries.

- Maintain and update SAP SD configurations as business requirements evolve.

Knowledge Management:

- Stay abreast of the latest developments in SAP SD and related technologies.

- Share knowledge and best practices within the team and with clients.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with a proven track record of successful project implementations.

- Strong understanding of Sales & Distribution business processes, including order-to-cash cycle, pricing, customer master data, and inventory management.

- Hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration, including master data maintenance, order entry, pricing, delivery, and invoicing.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA

- Knowledge of other SAP modules (e., FI, CO, MM)

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and Change Management processes

- Project Management experience
