Business Analyst

The ideal candidate for the Business Analyst role possesses a Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or an MBA. They have 5-7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, demonstrating strong data analytics skills and the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, excels at translating business needs into technical requirements, and is comfortable presenting data-driven insights to executives. Familiarity with the financial services industry, proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and knowledge of project management methodologies are highly valued advantages.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across departments to elicit, analyze, and meticulously document clear business requirements.

2. Apply data analytics techniques to evaluate current processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and propose data-driven solutions.

3. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, acting as a liaison for successful implementation by IT teams.

4. Design and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings and recommendations to leadership.

5. Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and seamless project execution.

6. Provide continuous support and guidance to IT teams throughout the implementation and change management phases.

Qualifications:

1. Masters degree in computer science, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or an MBA.

2. 5-7 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in a Product Management team

3. Expertise in data analysis techniques, requirements gathering, and process modeling.

4. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

5. Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with experience tailoring messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.

6. Strong demonstration of converting a business requirement in natural language to a technical product requirement document.

7. Proficient in Full stack development tools, demonstrate knowledge of OOP design through Java/C#/Go or Python, with expertise in RPA, Jenkins, etc.,

8. Strong working knowledge of leading tools in:

• Requirement Gathering & Documentation Jira, Confluence, Balsamiq or similar
• Process Modelling BPMN Software like Visio or similar
• UML Tools like Lucidchart, draw.io, etc.,
• Customer Journey Mapping – Miro or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience within the financial services industry, including understanding of relevant regulations.

2. Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.

3. Mastery of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

4. Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

5. Cloud Certifications of GCP/Azure/AWS will be preferred
