Role Summary :
- We are seeking an experienced Corporate Insurance Manager to oversee and manage all insurance-related matters, including employee benefits, marine insurance, property insurance, burglary, liability, and other corporate insurance policies.
- The role requires expertise in risk assessment, policy management, claims handling, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Benefits Insurance Management:
- Manage and administer group health, life, accidental, and disability insurance for employees.
- Ensure timely renewals, premium payments, and employee enrollments in insurance programs.
- Act as the primary liaison between employees, HR, and insurance providers for claims and policy-related queries.
- Work on enhancing employee benefits programs by negotiating better coverage and costs with insurers.
Corporate & Business Insurance Management:
- Oversee and manage corporate insurance policies, including but not limited to:
- Marine Insurance (for goods in transit, shipping, and logistics risks).
- Property Insurance (covering company assets, buildings, manufacturing facilities).
- Burglary & Theft Insurance (protection against losses due to unauthorized access and theft).
- Liability Insurance (covering product liability, professional liability, and third-party liabilities).
- Fire & Natural Disaster Insurance (coverage for fire, floods, earthquakes, and other calamities).
- Credit Insurance (mitigating risks of non-payment by customers).
- Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability Insurance (protecting key executives from personal liability).
Risk Assessment & Policy Optimization:
- Conduct risk assessments to determine the company's exposure and ensure adequate coverage.
- Work with insurance brokers, underwriters, and legal teams to structure optimal insurance solutions.
- Monitor policy terms, conditions, and exclusions to prevent coverage gaps and financial losses.
Claims Management & Compliance:
- Oversee and facilitate the claims process, ensuring timely settlements and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with insurance laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of policies, claims, renewals, and risk assessments.
Cost Control & Vendor Negotiation:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by negotiating with insurance providers and brokers.
- Review and analyze insurance costs to ensure maximum coverage at optimal pricing.
- Benchmark company policies against industry best practices for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum10 years of experience in corporate insurance, employee benefits, or risk management.
Expertise in:
- Corporate & commercial insurance policies
- Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Insurance claims management and policy negotiations
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, insurers, and legal teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and risk analysis tools
