Vice President - Portfolio Analytics - BFSI (10-15 yrs)

Our client, a renowned global financial services organization with a strong foothold in investment banking, asset management, fund services, and wealth management, is expanding its operations in Mumbai. They are currently looking for a Vice President to lead their Portfolio Analytics division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk attribution and portfolio performance analysis, specifically in the context of hedge fund clients.

Key responsibilities:

- This involves offering solutions in various areas such as assessing and managing risk and performance, providing clear portfolio transparency reports, conducting factor analysis, valuing derivatives, and addressing custom analytics requirements tailored to specific needs.

- Overseeing daily activities to ensure client deliverables are met on time.

- Supervising discussions with IT teams to maintain and improve proprietary analytical tools, and guiding the team in interactions with global teams and clients regarding analytics services.

- Streamline existing processes by proactively engaging with relevant stakeholders.

- Active participation and contribution in building new analytical tools.

Key skills to qualify for this job:

- Master's Degree in Finance/Statistics/Maths with 10+ years relevant work experience preferably in Hedge Funds.

- Team management and people management experience.

- Excellent in VBA.

- Strong understanding of financial instrument like equities, fixed income, and derivatives.

- CFA or FRM will be preferred.
