Procurement Specialist - Market Data - Investment Banking Firm (3-8 yrs)

Our client is a leading global investment banking firm specializing in financial services like advisory and capital raising, financing, investing, leasing, research, trading and hedging, and banking, advice and intermediary services, and funds management.

You will be responsible for procurement and vendor management for market data services.

About Role:

- Understanding vendor management to get the relevant vendors and data required to set up market data for new desk.

- Invoice reconciliation, user access management, exchange declarations, and inventory updates.

- To provide support for ongoing projects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver global changes for market data transformation.

- Documenting processes, ensuring the elimination of manual tasks, and helping to identify and mitigate risks.

Role Requirements:

- 3-8 years of relevant experience in procurement for Market Data.

- Experience in market data inventory systems, such as Optimize Spend (FITS) and MDM, is mandatory.

- Expertise in handling services with vendors like Bloomberg, IRESS, Refinitiv, Reuters, the London Stock Exchange (LSE), ICE, etc.

- Proven knowledge of invoice reconciliation and managing large market data datasets.

- Understanding of basic accounting concepts and contract management.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
