Head - Credit Risk Modelling - Retail Portfolio - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI (7-9 yrs)

Our client is a fast growing fintech firm supporting SME and MSME with trade finance products. They are hiring for Senior Manager- Risk Analytics role to be part of their Retail Credit Risk team with strong experience in retail analytics, regression testing, decision tree and time series modelling for retail services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing risk policies to drive growth and mitigate risk in the process.

- Supervise and manage portfolio risk to ensure losses remain within the firm's risk tolerance.

- Collaborate with business development, product, operations, and risk servicing teams to create scalable global risk strategies.

- Identify gaps in policy, conduct RCA and ensure compliance to policies and procedures.

- Redesign and implement risk policies to strengthen risk checks, incorporating financial ratios and monitoring mechanisms.

To Qualify for the role:

- 8+ years of relevant experience in credit risk analytics team for retail banking/financial services.

- Degree in engineering, statistics, or an MBA (preferred) from premier institutes.

- Excellent in in SQL and Python is essential.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data and derive actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
