Manager/Senior Manager - Retail Credit Risk Analytics

Our client is a fast-growing fintech firm supporting SME and MSME with trade finance products in India and US.

They are looking to hire advanced analytics, predictive modelling, and data-driven insights to enhance risk strategy, improve underwriting models, and conduct in-depth portfolio performance analysis, ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite framework.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop risk policies using data analytics to drive business growth while maintaining robust portfolio risk controls

- Lead and mentor a team of 3 to 4 analysts, driving innovation and analytical rigor.

- Conduct root cause analysis using statistical tools to identify policy gaps, optimize processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with business development, product, operations, and risk servicing teams to create scalable global risk strategies.

- Identify gaps in policy, conduct RCA and ensure compliance to policies and procedures.

To Qualify for the role:

- Qualified degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in credit risk analytics or model development team managing retail portfolio

- Excellent in in SQL and Python with machine learning framework familiarity.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data and derive actionable insights.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
