Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Calfus , an innovative IT service provider. As a Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, helping to define business requirements, identify areas for improvement, and deliver solutions that align with the company s strategic goals. You will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring successful project delivery, and driving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements for IT projects.
- Business Process Mapping: Understand and document current business processes, workflows, and systems to recommend process improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams (development, testing, etc) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors) to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Solution Design Support: Assist in the design and implementation of solutions by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for business decision-makers.
- Project Support: Provide support during the project lifecycle, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Change Management: Facilitate change management activities, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed of project developments.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in business processes and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess business processes and identify opportunities for automation, streamlining, and cost reduction.
- Educational Background: bachelors degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A masters degree or certifications (eg, CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT services company or similar environment.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with IT systems, software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and business analysis tools (eg, MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on providing creative and practical solutions.
- Project Management: Experience working in project-based environments; knowledge of project management methodologies is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
- Customer-Focused: Ability to understand client requirements and deliver tailored IT solutions.
