IAM- OKTA Senior Systems Administrator

Fully remote as contractor

Fully remote, able to work PST HRS (Night Shift in India 07:30 PM IST to 04:30 AM IST). The resource will part of supporting standing infrastructure setting up into their data center in India.

If the client converts to permanent, the resource must be able to work some days onsite in Bengaluru, India: 872 D1 Hal, Iiird Stage, Michael Palya, Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560075 and they will work in local IST Time.  However, it should be expected that they will be meeting with teams weekly in US time for sync and handoff.

Experience with IAM tools and platforms like Microsoft Azure AD, Entra ID, and Okta (hard requirement).

Nice to have: Familiarity with SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, or similar platforms.

Hands-on experience with scripting languages and automation platforms.

Job Overview: seeking a highly skilled IAM Engineer Level 3 to join our IAM Systems Engineering team. This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and the ability to implement and deliver tasks of medium to high complexity. As an engineer, you will work on diverse problems, implement automation and integration code, and collaborate with senior personnel to deliver solutions that enhance our security and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate full competency and comprehensive knowledge in IAM.

• Implement IAM solutions and contributes to strategies and roadmap.

• Implement and deliver tasks and outcomes of medium to high complexity.

• Author and maintain integration and automation code.

• Identify root causes within the teams service management incident response processes.

• Reduce technical debt backlog for the team.

• Stay current with industry trends and technical developments.

• Maintain and apply intermediate knowledge of major platform automation technologies (SaaS, IaaS, scripting languages, automation platforms).

• Partner with senior engineers to deliver more complex tasks and outcomes.

• Network with senior internal and external personnel in your area of expertise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or Master's degree with 3 years of related experience; or Intermediate knowledge of IAM standards and practices.

• Experience with IAM tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Azure AD, Okta- hard requirement. SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, or similar.

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages and automation platforms.

• Proven track record of delivering on commitments of medium to high complexity.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work efficiently in a demanding environment.

• Ability to mentor and collaborate with team members.
