We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Controller to oversee and manage all financial activities for our manufacturing operations. This role will be key in ensuring financial efficiency, compliance, and optimal performance across our production processes. The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and strategic financial planning, ensuring that financial practices align with the company s goals and objectives. Responsibilities: Financial Management: Manage and oversee the financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, inventory, and fixed assets for manufacturing operations. Budgeting Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with manufacturing targets and operational goals. Cost Control Efficiency: Analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective cost control strategies. Oversee the costing of products, ensuring accuracy in cost calculations and inventory valuation. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, including profit loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve business performance and profitability. Compliance Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and corporate policies. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Tax Regulatory Reporting: Ensure proper tax filing, reporting, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Work closely with external auditors during the year-end audit process. ERP Systems Management: Oversee and optimize the use of financial systems, ensuring that the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems are effectively utilized and maintained to streamline financial processes. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operational needs while maximizing the company s financial position. Leadership Team Management: Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal departments (e.g., production, operations, HR) and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, banks, vendors) to ensure seamless financial operations. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) as a Finance Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management in manufacturing settings. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and inventory management. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a finance team. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams."
