To make effective functioning and maintenance of instruments and control system at Dholka Key responsibilities of an instrument calibration engineer: Calibration procedures: Develop, document, and follow standardized calibration procedures for a wide range of instruments, including electrical, mechanical, and chemical measuring devices. Calibration execution: Perform calibrations on instruments using reference standards and specialized equipment, recording data accurately and analyzing results against established tolerances. Data analysis and reporting: Generate detailed calibration reports, including data analysis, trends, and recommendations for corrective actions. Calibration database management: Maintain a comprehensive database of instrument calibration records, including calibration dates, due dates, and results. Troubleshooting and repair: Identify and troubleshoot instrument malfunctions, performing basic repairs or coordinating with maintenance personnel for complex issues. Quality assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality management systems (QMS) related to calibration practices. Training and documentation: Provide training to other technicians on proper calibration procedures and document all calibration activities thoroughly. Interlaboratory comparisons: Participate in interlaboratory comparison programs to verify the accuracy of calibration standards. Calibration equipment maintenance: Maintain and calibrate calibration equipment to ensure its accuracy."
