Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Commissioning:

• Install, test, and calibrate a variety of instruments including pressure, flow, level, temperature transmitters, and analyzers.
• Perform initial setup and commissioning of new equipment and systems.

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and systems.
• Replace or repair faulty sensors, valves, transmitters, and other components.

3. Calibration:

• Ensure all instruments are properly calibrated to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Perform calibration according to manufacturer's specifications and industry standards.

4. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including calibrations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Document all equipment settings and ensure all instruments meet safety and regulatory standards.

5. Control Systems:

• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Monitor and adjust control loops and settings to ensure systems are functioning optimally.

6. Safety:

• Ensure that all instruments and control systems are functioning in compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines for working with hazardous materials and electrical equipment.
• Assist in implementing emergency response protocols in case of system failures.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Recommend improvements to the instrumentation and control systems to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to implement process upgrades and new technologies.
