Major purpose of the job: Perform EHS functions pertaining to Development and implementation of safe working atmosphere to avoid any injury/occupational illness, Environment management system with fulfilling legal requirements. Principal task and responsibilities : To prepare Incident/accident investigation procedure coordinate with related agenesis for smooth functioning & audits. To involve in preparation of EHS budgets, Shift schedule, Planning of EHS activities. To assist superior for smooth EHS department functioning & perform assigned task & reporting. To develop permit to work procedure and its implementation To prepare, review, implement standard operating procedures of EHS department. To maintain firefighting system & emergency fire fighting equipments. To procure standard PPEs and monitoring for their compliance. To implement the Safe working practices and conditions with the aid of engineering & production team s contribution. To take routine plant safety round and unsafe observations to be reporting to concern departmental personnel. Maintenance of various safety equipments. To develop traffic safety system by introducing signage and road safety gears. To display various safety signage and board at prominent places. To conduct various safety inspection and audits at prominent places. Manage ETP & STP Operation."
