Job Description
- Conduct in-depth legal research to meet client requirements.
- Provide quality control (QC) and mentorship to the legal team.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of the teams work.
- Develop and deliver effective legal solutions for clients.
- Create training manuals and resources for the team.
Requirements
- Law degree (LL.B./J.D.) is mandatory; an advanced degree (LL.M.) is a plus.
- 10-12+ years of experience in legal research, contract law, e-discovery, and contract lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in working across multiple legal systems (highly preferred).
- Expertise in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to deal with evolving project scopes and priorities.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Flexibility to travel to Kenya (with assistance).
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with Alternative Legal Service Providers (ALSPs).
