Investor Relations Associate

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Investor Relations portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all investor meetings, preparing board presentations, and conducting detailed competitive and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry & Business Understanding:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Home and Personal Care (HPC) industry.
  
• Analyze industry trends, with a focus on surfactants and other relevant sectors.
  
• Study and interpret market research reports (e.g., Nielsen Reports).
  
• Create and distribute quarterly newsletters with key industry insights.
  

Board Presentations:

• Collaborate in the creation and development of board presentations, ensuring they reflect a deep understanding of business dynamics.
  

Market & Financial Analysis:

• Conduct granular analysis of customer segments, product lines, regional markets, and macroeconomic factors affecting business and profit margins.
  
• Perform detailed financial performance analyses of competitors.
  

Conference Call & Results Analysis:

• Attend and summarize key customer and competitor conference calls.
  
• Provide insights from investor presentations and financial results.
  

Post-Quarterly Results:

• Compile data for investor presentations and media releases.
  
• Draft and refine the Managing Director speech and investor call notes, capturing essential questions and data points for management.
  

Investor Interactions:

• Plan and coordinate investor interactions, including scheduling meetings for senior management.
  
• Participate in all investor meetings, providing support alongside the Managing Director and CFO.
  
• Prepare and circulate notes post-meetings, and brief management on previous discussions during follow-up meetings.
  
• Lead preparation for analyst meetings and independently manage relationships with brokerages, analysts, portfolio management services (PMS), and family offices.
  

Annual Report Preparation:

• Collaborate with marketing to design and develop key content for the annual report.
  
• Contribute to the Management Discussion and Analysis section.
  
• Assist in preparing the Managing Director speech.
  

Required Qualities:

• Strong research and analytical abilities across various subjects, including macroeconomic trends, global developments, industry insights, and financial research.
  
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of representing the company at external forums.
  
• Creative and proactive mindset with strong writing skills and the ability to anticipate needs.
  
• High integrity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Business Finance, FP&A, or M&A.
  

Qualification:

• MBA in Finance or CA qualification.
