Job Description
- School Administration: Assume overall responsibility for the administration and management of the school in the absence of the regular principal. Ensure the smooth operation of academic, extracurricular, and administrative activities.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and direction to teachers, staff, and students. Foster a positive and productive learning environment. Supervise and support teachers, ensuring adherence to school policies, curriculum guidelines, and instructional standards.
- Curriculum and Instruction: Oversee the implementation of the school curriculum and instructional programs. Collaborate with teachers and instructional staff to ensure effective teaching practices, student engagement, and academic success.
- Student Discipline and Welfare: Maintain a safe and inclusive school environment. Address student behavior and disciplinary issues promptly and in accordance with school policies. Promote student welfare and ensure the physical and emotional well-being of students.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the community. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, school events, and policies. Collaborate with community stakeholders to support school initiatives and enhance the educational experience.
- Staff Development and Evaluation: Support professional development opportunities for teachers and staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality instruction.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage school resources, including budget allocation, procurement of educational materials, and maintenance of facilities. Ensure efficient use of resources while meeting the needs of the school and its stakeholders.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and national education regulations and standards. Stay updated on educational policies, trends, and best practices to guide decision-making and promote continuous improvement.
