Junior Research Fellow (Department of Civil&Environmental Engineering)

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following position in the research project entitled Static Analysis of Composite Plates using NURBS Augmented Finite Element Method sponsored by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi.

**Duration of the Position Initially for one year but extendable up to the end of the project (Date of Completion of project 23rd May 2027)

Emoluments: As per the project fund

• Educational Qualification & Experience:

(i) B.E./B.Tech., with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Civil / Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering and having a valid GATE score.

(or)

(ii) M.E./M.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with relevant specialization with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.

(iii) Candidate may have expertise in anyone area of the following:

a) Composite Materials

b) Finite element analysis

c) Isogeometric Analysis

d) MATLAB coding

e) ABAQUS/ANSYS.

• Process of Selection :Candidates found suitable will be called for interview (online mode). The final selection will be based on interview performance.

*Note: Candidate could have an opportunity to enroll for pursuing Ph.D. in Civil Engineering while working as a JRF in the Civil Engineering Department of C. V. Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar.

1. The position is purely temporary and is coterminous with the project.

2. The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on

the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

3. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in

this regard will be entertained.

4. The candidate is expected to join immediately, if selected.

5. The headquarter of the candidate selected will be CGU, Bhubaneswar till the completion of the project.

6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
