Our Startups

We are pleased to share that our incubation/acceleration programs have enrolled over 90 startups, while the number of participants in our pre-incubation program approaches nearly 200 and even more. Our incubation centres have facilitated the disbursement of more than 10 Crore rupees in funding to startups through both government and private sources.

Job Summary

Position: Incubation Manager

Department: Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) CVRCEF

Location: CGU Bhubaneswar Campus

Qualification:

Essential: Masters degree in business administration (MBA), Engineering, or a related field with 1st class career(throughout) from a reputed college/University.

The Incubation Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of the AIC by providing strategic guidance, operational support, and mentorship to incubated startups. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for fostering innovation.

Desirable:

1. Preferably the candidate should have Hands-on experience in Designing, Analysis, New Product Development, Prototype Development , New technology development , Networking with other Incubation centres by using CAD/CAM Technologies.

2.Prior experience in entrepreneurship, business development, or incubation program management.

3. Candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and the challenges faced by early-stage ventures

4. The candidate is expected to know the government policies and regulations related to startups & should have experience in organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and events.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience

Age: 30-45*Years max as on the date 01.01.2025

**Age limits are further relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms. Age relaxation may be given to exceptionally deserving candidates

Roles & Responsibilities :

1.Startup Recruitment & Selection:

• Develop and implement effective startup recruitment strategies to identify and select high-potential ventures.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and evaluation of startup applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with academic departments, industry partners, and investor networks to identify potential startups.

2.Incubation Program Management:

• Design and deliver high-quality incubation programs tailored to the specific needs of startups at different stages of development.
• Oversee the implementation of various incubation programs, including mentorship, workshops, boot camps, and industry connect sessions.
• Monitor the progress of incubated startups and provide timely feedback and support.

3.Mentorship & Guidance:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to startups on various aspects of business development, including market research, product development, fundraising, and team building.
• Connect startups with relevant mentors, industry experts, and investors.
• Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and knowledge sharing among incubated startups.

4.Resource Mobilization & Partnerships:

• Identify and secure funding opportunities for the AIC and incubated startups, including government grants, corporate investments, and angel funding.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, investors, and other stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Explore and leverage collaborations with other incubators, accelerators, and industry associations.

5.Operational Excellence:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the AIC, including budget management, facility management, and administrative tasks.
• Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of incubation programs.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in entrepreneurship and incubation.

• In addition to the above qualifications, the profile of the candidates shall be evaluated based on their potential to carry out the respective roles and responsibilities for the position.
• The only Shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview.
• The decision of CVRCEF is final.

Terms of Appointment

• Annual contract renewed every year based on project duration and performance

Salary: To be decided based upon Qualification, Experiences and Competency of the candidate.
