Responsibilities :
- Document current (as-is) business processes and model to-be business processes.
- Understand systems and applications by analyzing the base data structure and mapping functionalities and their database impacts.
- Manage small projects or provide interim support for Project Manager's role as needed.
- Analyze business requirements, identify procedures and problems, and provide solutions that align with stakeholders' needs.
- Handle changing requirements (change control) and communicate impact with project teams and stakeholders.
- Gather, document, analyze, and prioritize detailed business requirements based on user and business needs.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and one-on-one interviews.
- Create diagrams, workflows, and operational steps to illustrate system functionality.
- Assist project teams throughout the project life cycle, from inception to transition.
- Use analysis tools such as data flow diagrams, process models, and data models.
- Develop system requirements specifications using Use Cases and supplementary documents.
- Create test plans, oversee testing activities, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Mentor other Business Analysts and assist in recruiting and interviewing efforts.
- Participate in business development activities and proactively suggest process improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, Project Managers, and other teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and deliver user training plans, materials, and sessions.
- Stay updated with industry and technology trends to integrate innovative solutions.
Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
- Advanced SQL knowledge, including creating joins, unions, exceptions, stored procedures, and pulling data using SSIS and ETL processes.
- Strong ability to analyze, document, and optimize data structures and system functionalities.
- Proven experience with system development methodologies (RUP, Agile, etc.)
- Proficient in tools such as CMS, CRM, HRMS, EAI, ERP, DAM, Portals, and e-Commerce systems.
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems and conducting user-centric requirements gathering.
System Analysis :
- Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering using Use Cases and other techniques.
- Experience designing workflows and analyzing system requirements to provide solutions.
- Skilled in conducting user interviews, surveys, and scoping business problems effectively.
- Familiar with training programs, documentation, and adoption-driving strategies.
Project Management :
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations and providing flexible solutions under tight deadlines.
- Strong planning, scoping, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working hours with sufficient overlap for stakeholder coordination.
Other Skills :
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
- 6-8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team collaboration skills.
- High level of professional maturity, integrity, and patience.
