About BLR Ratings:
Bank loan rating indicates the degree of risk regarding timely payment of the bank facility being rated; the facility includes principal and interest, if any, on the principal. CRISIL rates the maximum number of companies for their bank loans in India. It has, so far, assigned ratings to the bank facilities of more than 12,614 entities as on March 31, 2013, representing over 50 per cent of all the companies which have their bank loans rated in India; CRISIL has rated bank facilities of all types: term loans, project loans, corporate loans, general purpose loans, working capital demand loans, cash credit facilities, and non-fund-based facilities, such as letters of credit and bank guarantees. New clients acquisition:
- Acquiring new Clients i.e. large corporate companies for the Credit Ratings.
- Ability to establish connect with new clients through cold calls.
- Extensive reach out and ability to schedule meetings for self and seniors with new clients.
- Ability to understand client's paint points, areas where we can deliver value to the clients.
Existing clients servicing:
- Role also involves servicing existing clients.
- Extensive reach out to schedule meetings for self and seniors.
- Assess client's ratings requirements well in advance by keeping in well touch with the clients.
- Understand client's paint points, if any and drive it internally for addressing those in timely manner.
Other key roles:
- Learning ability to grasp market trends related to economy / macros, client's businesses / specific sectors, which has impact for clients. This requires going through secondary domain news, internal knowledge articles and relevant academic qualification on an on-going basis.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients is key requirement and excel in it.
- Positioning and handling negotiations with client on commercials, in alignment with internal processes and bringing timely closures.
- Handling internal processes related to mandates, invoices, external audits documentation, meetings preparation notes and multiple MIS, which involves strict promptness for timelines aadherence.
- Collection of fees from clients as per regulatory timelines.
- Gather client side intelligence in terms of mapping all relevant stakeholders, competitors & etc.
- Meeting intermediaries & building rapo, who shall help with contacts of new clients and market intelligence.
- Need to travel for meetings, need basis.
