Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in managing customer relationships, particularly in the oil & gas, chemical, and process industries. The ideal candidate should have extensive exposure to dealing with private industries and EPC companies, particularly in the sectors of TPI (Third-Party Inspection), Process Safety, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) services. This position requires an individual capable of establishing and maintaining relationships with top management of all units, understanding customer insights for future requirements, and driving business growth by generating leads, converting them into orders, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.


Role & responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in private industries and EPC companies, especially in the oil & gas, chemical, and process industries.
    • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing timely and relevant updates on project progress and future requirements.
  • Sales and Business Growth:
    • Achieve business unit sales targets by generating leads, converting them into orders, and driving product sales to private and process industries.
    • Handle sales planning for private customers, including a target range of 5-7 Cr.
    • Be responsible for pricing commitment in line with business unit sales planning and goals.
  • Industry Expertise and Services:
    • Demonstrate hands-on knowledge and understanding of services including TPI, FQA (Factory Quality Assurance), Process Safety, NDT Services, and manufacturing industries.
    • Regularly update and track customer insights for future and ongoing requirements in TPI and EPC projects.
  • Collaboration and Technical Support:
    • Work closely with managers across different departments for technical inputs and ensure alignment between customer requirements and service offerings.
    • Establish strong communication lines with top management for decisions related to pricing and project progression.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • A BE (Bachelor of Engineering) degree.
  • Proven experience in business development or customer relationship management roles, particularly in the oil & gas, chemical, and process industries.
  • Expertise in TPI, Process Safety, NDT Services, and manufacturing industries.
  • Strong track record in meeting sales targets and handling sales planning in private industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
