Job Description

Position Overview:

Are you a driven Business Development Manager with a passion for building relationships and securing high-value business? We are looking for an experienced professional to help us grow our certification services in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Manufacturing sectors. If you have a proven track record in customer acquisition, technical knowledge of certifications such as ASME, PED, IBR, PESO, and a results-driven mindset, this is your chance to take your career to the next level.


Role & responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Sales: Proactively generate and convert leads into long-term business opportunities in the certification services domain. Focus on achieving annual sales targets of 8-10 Crore INR.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in private manufacturing companies and industries like Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Steel.
  • Certification Services: Promote and sell certifications like ASME, PED, IBR, PESO, DOSH, and other industry-specific standards to potential customers in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Market Insights & Tender Support: Work closely with the tender team to provide market updates, technical input, and cost estimates that enhance the chances of winning projects.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Focus on securing 100% of business from new customers and re-engaging previous clients to drive revenue growth. Achieve set sales targets and consistently exceed them.
  • Negotiation & Pricing: Take ownership of pricing discussions and negotiations, ensuring alignment with business unit goals and market expectations.

  • Skills:
    • Strong ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with senior-level executives.
    • Excellent relationship-building and client management skills.
    • Ability to drive sales, meet targets, and manage multiple customer accounts.
    • Technical understanding of certification processes and related services.

Preferred candidate profile

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Masters in Business Administration is a plus).
    • Minimum 7+ years of experience in business development, customer relations, or sales, specifically in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Manufacturing industries.
    • Strong background in certification services (ASME, PED, IBR, PESO, etc.)
