Business Development Manager

Ashoka Buildcon Limited is looking for an ideal candidate for its Solar Project Vertical-

Business Development Manager .

Preferably Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E Electrical or & Master's degree (MBA- Marketing ) will be more preferred ,with relevant experience of more than 5-7 years in solar industry (open access-group captive), ground mounted solar works. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in generating leads and establishing new business opportunities to drive growth for our company by attracting captive customers.

candidate shall be responsible for:

• Bringing customers to buy power under group captive open access module.
• Identify and target high-volume electricity consumers (>100 KW) for group captive solar solutions. Develop proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Build strong relationships with clients. Negotiate terms for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to project completion.
• Conduct market research, identify growth opportunities, monitor competitor activity and develop & implement winning sales strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends and propose strategic initiatives. Provide timely updates to management and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Willingness to travel as required.
  
  

ADDITIONAL SKILLS :

• Experience with solar project finance and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
• Technical understanding of solar energy systems.
• Experience working in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector. Public speaking and presentation skills.
• Strategic mind-set with a focus on achieving targets and profitability
• Experience in developing and managing sales channels.
• Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
