BIM Lead

Your next roleAs a BIM Lead your role will be to develop a strong BIM team within BuroHappold India there by enhancing the existing team s capabilities to deliver the projects with quality.

You will also monitor the setting up, managing and coordinating the models/drawings with other engineering disciplines and will be working closely with the engineering and client teams.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, with a keen interest in the built environment and a passion for technology, particularly a willingness to use Dynamo, Grasshopper and Digital processesYour key dutiesAs a capable BIM Lead, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate:Extensive experience in the use of Autodesk software s such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM360, ACC Project Setups in early daysContributing to BIM content creationAn understanding of industry wide BIM standardsSound knowledge of Architectural, Structural and MEP servicesGuiding teams on BIM Modelling and drawing extractionArranging regular training sessionsAuthoring BIM documentsReview/commenting on BIM documents shared by other consultants/clientsMentoring Clash detection, resolution and reporting processesRepresenting Buro Happold India in BIM meetingsRepresenting India region at global levelA keen interest in implementation of digital design tools and scripting (Dynamo/Grasshopper/BHoM) to improve efficiency and workflowsCapable of working independently or with minimal supervisionTaking ownership of the BIM development in India regionKnowledge sharing with subordinatesParticipation in computational workshops and presentationsYour skills and experienceConfident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situationsInterest in built environmentGood communication skillsEagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary teamKeen to grow into a role including the ability to lead BIM training and upskill other staff on BIM skillsPrevious experience in developing/using Dynamo, Grasshopper scripts would be preferredPreferred Diploma/Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Structural, Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringWhat we offer youBring your knowledge and expertise to one of the world s most respected consultancies.
