Assurance Specialist, Trade Compliance

Position Overview:

The Trade Compliance Assurance Specialist will play an integral part of Hubbells Trade Compliance (HTC) team by ensuring operations are in compliance with all laws governing export and import activities - worldwide. This is accomplished by conducting audits of the export and import activity of Hubbell sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform transactional audit of export activity for Hubbell sites
• Perform transactional audit of import activity for Hubbell sites
• Review site compliance with Trade Compliance policies and procedures
• Maintain dashboard of results for Hubbell sites

Education / Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university preferred
• Previous experience auditing trade data preferred
• Experience with SAP and / the SAP GTS module a plus
• Understanding of and experience with Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) would be a plus
