Job Description
- Manages and maintains the overall health and performance of the Active Directory environment
- Assists in the creation and management of user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs)
- High privilege account maintenance tasks, such as password resets, creation/deletion , and group membership changes.
- Implements AD changes, including domains, OUs, and group policies.
- Automates and streamlines AD management tasks using scripting and other tools
- Implements and maintains AD security controls, including password policies, user account restrictions, and privileged access management
- Collaborates with other IT teams (e.g., networking, server, and application teams) to ensure the integration and alignment of AD with other infrastructure components
- Monitors and analyzes AD logs and events to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Develops and maintains comprehensive AD documentation, including design, configuration, and operational procedures
- Provides training and mentorship to junior AD team members
