Job Overview :

Buddy4study is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to lead and collaborate on the development of cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side Java development, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices, with hands-on expertise in cloud technologies and modern frameworks.

As part of the team, you will work on developing scalable, secure, and innovative solutions for significant commercial projects while adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and contribute to the architecture and development of scalable, cloud-native applications using Java.

- Design and implement microservices, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Ensure secure coding practices and manage sensitive data effectively.

- Optimize application performance and implement system-level monitoring.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and demonstrate a continuous learning mindset.

- Document technical designs and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications :

Experience :

Minimum of 4 years in software development, with proven hands-on experience in :

- Server-side Java and/or Netty applications.

- Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Reactor-Core.

- Developing and deploying cloud-native solutions (preferably on AWS: Kubernetes, Fargate, S3, MKS, Lambda, etc.

- Secure coding practices and managing PII/secure/sensitive data.

- SQL and NoSQL data access and management.

- Async messaging systems like Kafka, NATS, SQS, RabbitMQ.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks, CI/CD processes (CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline), and best design practices.

- Recent experience in Gen-AI tools and LLM development is a plus.
