Job Description

Creating 3D model as per the blueprint requirement Turbine Engine parts designing, drafting, modeling. Generating forging model Checking the 3d model dimensions with every dimension mentioned in the blueprint Responsible for designing, modelling and drafting of turbine components and assemblies in NX

considering full spectrum of design requirements (functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness, manufacturing & technology, assembly and service).

Prepares and checks assembly drawings, detailed drawings, manufacturing sketches, layouts as per standards requirement and creation of Bill of materials

Checking the drafted sheets for compliance with the general approved Creating models as per the outline done for the process structure Drafting the models to generate the step-by-step method for manufacturing Check Drawing for latest revision and ballooning. Noting critical dimensions, datums, and critical shapes. Analyse general notations and Material Specifications. Reviews Process sheets and correcting OP Sheets. Knowledge of aspects of Mechanical Integrity of steam turbine components Knowledge of product development process of a product.

Skills/ Qualifications: MTech / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering 3-8 years prior experience in Design Engineer in Aero space manufacturing Turbine industry. Sound Technical knowhow of turbine Design and its functionality. Knowledge of Design Tools like Unigraphics Simens NX. Hands on experience of creating 3D assemblies / 3D Models / 2D Drawings. Experience on two domain (Design + Mechanics (Ansys)) would be added advantage.
