Should have adept skills for reverse engineering and creation of 3D models from the actual component by scanning and converting the scanned model into a 3D model in Unigraphics. Should also have knowledge about bearings load calculations, bearing loss calculations. Should have capability of understanding requirement of clearance and how they are calculated in various sizes and L/D ratios of bearings. Should have knowledge of 3D modelling in Unigraphics and analysis of the created 3D models in ANSYS. Should have knowledge of bearing loading and rotor dynamic study . Should be aware of the latest 3D softwares for fluid analysis. Should have knowledge of thermal insulation and there calculations in steam turbines. Should have knowledge of ISO standards for providing thermal insulations. Should be aware of performance guarantees of steam turbine and can understand the requirements of steam turbine efficiency in each module
