Role & responsibilities


Lead Screening:

  • Review and analyse leads generated from various sources (e.g., inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, partner referrals, and third-party data).
  • Cold calling the raw / dump data to qualify client/leads based on defined criteria (such as trade activity, export-related certifications, or business model).
  • Verify whether the leads are exporters or not, ensure that all leads are categorized according to the industry or market segment they belong to, ensuring accurate targeting and communication.

Segment Identification:

  • Classify the lead into specific verticals such as consumer goods, industrial, B2B services, or other relevant categories.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of the leads information in the CRM system, ensuring proper tagging for further outreach by the sales team.

Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that only qualified leads are passed on for follow-up/conversion.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and trends to help refine marketing campaigns and targeting strategies.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

  • Stay up to date on market trends, trade regulations, and industry standards that impact export businesses.
  • Suggest improvements in the lead qualification process to optimize efficiency and lead conversion rates.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Regularly report on lead qualification metrics, including lead conversion rates, segmentation accuracy, and overall performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all leads, including detailed notes on how the lead was qualified and segmented.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 0-2 years of experience in lead qualification, sales or a related role, preferably in B2B, export, or trade-focused industries.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with different stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate lead data and segmentation information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple priorities effectively.
