Job Description
- Analyse on premises/ Azure transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL,
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra evaluate and plan migrations to Azure Develop/Enhance database PLSQL scripts/TSQL to migrate from source database to target database Identity workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration
- Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate database readiness post migration Document detailed design and migration steps for continued migration from Dev to Prod
- Requirements: Masters/ Bachelors degree in engineering preferred 15 years of experience in database design/ development/migration on Azure Hands-on experience on Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra Experience migrating Large databases 1TB in size across multiple database engines
