Job Summary
The IT RCSA Management & Testing Analyst is responsible for ensuring proper execution of operational tasks in the RCSA Testing Center. He/she will execute various tasks in support of Bread Financials technology risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) management and testing program. Additionally, he/she will partner closely with the leader of the team to set strategy and implement changes.
Essential Job Functions
Partner closely with team members and the team leader to develop and implement a best-in-class IT RCSA Management & Testing function that aligns with the strategic and operational objectives of the technology organization and the broader enterprise. Clearly communicate organizational objectives to partners.
Effectively execute IT control evaluations and testing, including documenting test results, communicating those results to stakeholders, and collaborating with partners (e.g., control owners, IT Risk) to determine appropriate remediation plans for noted control deficiencies.
Operational Duties:
Own and execute key operational tasks in support of the IT RSCA Management & Testing framework, including:
Testing IT controls by interviewing control owners, collecting & evaluating evidence, and opining on the overall control effectiveness
Documenting work in alignment with Bread Financial and regulatory standards
Updating RCSA processes, risks, and controls to ensure they reflect processes in place at Bread Financial.
Partners with team members and team leader to continually improve IT RCSA Management &
Testing processes across IT service delivery teams
Shares results of testing, including potential issues, with appropriate stakeholders, including process managers, IT Risk, and senior management, as appropriate, to:
Ensure that testing results are understood
Ensure firm control expectations are being met and, when they are not, that risk is dimensioned, and appropriate remediation plans are in place
Coordinates with the Enterprise IT Process Framework team and second line of defense to ensure that IT processes are effectively and efficiently evaluated
Assist the team leader in the development of training for IT RCSA Management & Testing, processes, procedures and guidelines
Coordinate closely with team members to ensure all work is executed timely and accurately
Reports to:
Local Leader in India
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
Normal office environment, some travel may be required.
Direct Reports: Zero, this is an individual contributor role
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor s degree in business, management or a related field is required.
Three to Five years of related work experience
Experience in some aspect of IT Risk Management, IT Controls, or IT Audit
Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g. Healthcare, Banking, & Financial Services)
Preferred Experience:
A Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) or other advanced degree is desirable.
Desired professional qualifications may include:
Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE)
Five to Eight years of related experience
