Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies (6-8 yrs)

Job Description :

- Responsibilities Guide and coach development teams on Agile principles and practices, specifically Scrum methodology.

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective).

- Manage the Scrum backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and refined effectively.

- Remove impediments and roadblocks that hinder team progress.

- Foster collaboration and communication between team members, stakeholders, and product owners.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team by facilitating retrospectives and implementing action items.

- Track project progress and maintain visibility through burndown charts and other metrics.

- Support the adoption of Agile practices across the organization (if applicable).

- Experience & Skills 6+ years of overall experience, including: 3+ years in managing complex technical projects (Agile or Waterfall methodologies).

- 3+ years of development or testing experience as part of an Agile team.

- University degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or comparable education/equivalent experience).

- Strong technical background with a career journey demonstrating experience in software development or testing, transitioning into a technical project management role.

- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

- Experience with Kanban or SAFe is a plus.

- Experience in transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile development methodologies.

- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with software engineers and stakeholders.

- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to influence behavior and foster collaboration within teams.

- Demonstrated values of proactivity, ownership, and continuous improvement.

- PMP certification, SAFe certification, and/or Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) is strongly preferred.

- Proficient written and spoken English
