Researcher - Vibration Simulations

For this role, the focus is set on advanced simulation of vibration and structural mechanics.

• You ll be a part of our team and model vibrations in automotive components.
• You will simulate 3D multi-physics models using numerical simulations, scripting and programming.
• You will develop better modeling strategies for vibration.
• Furthermore, you combine physics-based models with data-based approaches.
• You will work in international teams and perform necessary development/implementation to accomplish the tasks.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.

Required skills:

• Excellent knowledge of solid mechanics
• Expertise in vibration modeling Sound fundamentals of Finite Element Methods
• Excellent programming skills in python, C, C++
• Proficiency in Abaqus tool Good knowledge of partial differential equations
• Sound fundamentals of Numerical methods for engineering problems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

Preferable skills:

• Experience with simulation tools: Matlab, Simulink and Ansys will be added advantage.
• Application knowledge in at least one of the areas of mobility, industrial technology, consumer goods or energy and building technology
