Experience: 5-6 years of work experience in design and development of controls algorithm for Motor/Inverter

Job Description Summary:
In this role, under the direct supervisor of engineering supervisor, Controls engineer would be responsible for development of controls algorithm for inverter and motor controls. Interacts with Feature Owner and other competencies to derive solution requirement and works with controls development team across globe to deliver controls solution in BW software.

Key Responsibility: Design and development controls algorithm for power-electronics and motor controls. Performance analysis for new designs of Inverter/Converter/Motor. Updating all design items impacted by the new development or change request. Perform thorough testing of the developed SW before delivery. Involve in technical discussion with other competencies Prepare/review detailed technical specifications for the control algorithm. Ensure projects are completed within schedule. Ensure that all designs and practices implement and foster a culture of safety, quality, and value. Follow BW process guideline to deliver the required work products.

Work Experience/Skills:

5-6 years of experience in Controls Algorithm Design and Development for Inverter/Motor.

Bachelor s/Master s degree in electrical/Electronics/Controls or Automotive Electronics domain.

Strong knowledge in Model Based SW design and development.

Good Understanding of Inverter functioning and Controls.

Good Understanding of FOC for traction motor application.

Hands on working experience with Matlab, Simulink and State Flow.

Working knowledge of bitbucket and requirement management tool is good to have.

Hands on working knowledge of Hardware in Loop benches.
