The Company operates Indias largest retail forex marketplace accessible
on the web and mobile and has three key offerings forex cards, currency and outbound remittances from India. The marketplace comprises retail customers on the demand side of the platform and banks and money changers on the supply side.
Position Title: Sales Manager
Location: Delhi NCR
Job Description: The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth
within the foreign exchange sector by targeting specific customer segments such as
online education consultants, tour operators etc. This role requires a strategic thinker
with strong leadership skills who can develop and implement effective sales
strategies to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to target
customers in the online education consultancy and tourism sectors.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business
opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and
resolving issues promptly.
3. Team Leadership:
• Lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and
support to achieve individual and team targets.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and
high performance.
4. Performance Monitoring:
• Set sales targets for the team based on market analysis and company
goals.
• Monitor performance metrics regularly to assess progress towards
targets; adjust strategies as necessary.
5. Market Research:
• Conduct thorough research on competitors’ offerings in the foreign
exchange market.
• Stay updated on industry trends that may impact customer needs or
preferences.
6. Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and results for
senior management review.
7. Collaboration with Other Departments:
• Work closely with marketing teams to align promotional efforts with
sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance departments to ensure pricing strategies are
competitive yet profitable.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related
field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the financial
services or foreign exchange industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of forex markets and related financial products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
