Investment Banking & Business development specialist

Key Responsibilities :

• Business Development & Deal Origination:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive company growth.
• Originate, structure, and execute high-value deals across various sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
• Conduct market analysis to uncover emerging opportunities and generate new deal flow .

• Investment Banking & Venture Capital:
• Lead capital raising initiatives through private equity, venture capital, and institutional investors.
• Create and present business plans, pitch decks, and financial models to attract investment.
• Manage the due diligence process for potential investments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies on growth, financing, and exit strategies.

• Fundraising & Investor Relations:
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to raise capital for new and existing ventures.
• Manage communications with investors, including regular reporting, progress updates, and ongoing engagement.
• Negotiate terms of equity and debt investments, ensuring favorable terms for all parties involved.
• Cultivate strong relationships with venture capitalists, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals

• Working Capital Management:
• Assess and manage the companys working capital needs, optimizing liquidity and ensuring efficient operations.
• Develop financial strategies to address short-term and long-term capital requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve cash flow, reduce operational costs, and enhance financial efficiency.

• Debt/Loan Syndication:
• Structure and facilitate debt transactions, including syndicated loans, credit facilities, and structured finance solutions.
• Work with banks, lenders, and financial institutions to secure the best terms for debt financing.
• Oversee the syndication process, including coordinating with multiple lenders, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with loan covenants.
• Provide strategic advice on debt restructuring, refinancing, and risk management

• Strategic Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting fundraising progress, deal flow, and financial performance.
• Analyze financial data, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform decision-making and business strategy.
• Track and measure the success of fundraising efforts and financial strategies, recommending adjustments as needed .

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, investment banking, venture capital, or a related financial field.
• Strong experience in deal origination, structuring, and execution.
• Expertise in fundraising (Debt Segment), capital raising, and managing investor relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of working capital management, financial modeling, and debt syndication.
• Proven track record of successful capital raises, syndicated loans, and investment deals.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
