Assistant Manager - Sales Training - Mumbai / Chennai / Delhi

Location - Mumbai / Delhi / Chennai

Overall Purpose of the Role

Strategic stakeholder in conceptualising, Content designing, implementation & assessment of training programs for various stakeholders including Train the Trainer as well as Staff of Clients.

Areas of Responsibility

• Training delivery experience on floor, virtual & classroom
• Good experience on product, soft skill & service training delivery experience
• Client management & must apply different training methods on floor training.
• Evaluating Training Effectiveness: Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback from clients, trainees and their supervisors. Must show the ROI impact post trainings
• Daily/Weekly 10 bottom stores visits at base location
• Every month, visit the outstation for refresher training on bottom stores with the client trainer.
• Programs with New Clients
• Quarterly Training & Assessment for Internal Sales Success existing team
• New Staff Induction training programs
• Timely submitting training reports & training calendar
• Staying Current with Industry Trends: Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, strategies, and technologies in the retail industry to incorporate them into training programs and provide relevant and effective training.
• Publishing monthly training reports for your respective regions & any other training sessions conducted as & when

Qualification & Experience Required

• 5-10 years in Training function
• Full time MBA in any stream, Bachelors Degree
• Extensive experience in Training function in the retail/ telecom/ insurance sector will be an added advantage.
• Availability to travel and visit our retail stores, as needed.
• TNI Analysis - Determine training needs both for individuals & teams
• Training and facilitation skills: A Retail Trainer should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations effectively.
• Knowledge of training methodologies: Familiarity with various training methods and techniques, such as e-learning, on-the-job training, and classroom training, is important for developing and delivering effective training programs.
• Product and service knowledge: Deep understanding of the company's products and services is crucial for a trainer to effectively train staff on product knowledge, features, and benefits.
• Coaching and mentoring skills: Strong coaching and mentoring skills are necessary to provide ongoing guidance and support to our & as well as client sales staff, helping them improve their performance
• Organization and planning: The ability to plan and organize training activities, create training schedules, and manage resources efficiently is important for a Retail Trainer to ensure smooth training operations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: Trainer should have the ability to analyze training needs, identify performance gaps, and develop solutions to address them effectively.
• Adaptability and flexibility: Trainer should be adaptable to different learning styles, be open to change, and adjust training approaches based on the needs and preferences of trainees.
• Professionalism and leadership: Trainer should exhibit professionalism, demonstrate leadership qualities, and serve as a role model for our team & client staff

Skills Required

• Good in training delivery & public speaking skills
• Highly analytical and experience in sharing report, qualitative feedback & suggestions
• Understand barrier in selling.
• Understand psychology of customer
• Experience of working with push strategy
• Must be comfortable speaking Kannada, Hindi & English languages
• Strong influencing abilities & must be comfortable by multi-tasking.
• Strength of character to raise and communicate issues or recommendations
• An appetite for growth and personal development.
• Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
