We re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President Scrum Leader I to join our TSG s App Engine team. This role is located in Chennai-TN, HYBRID.

In this role, you ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Responsible for developing resilient and high performing microservices that will support the Platform as a Service layer of the container platform.
• Work closely with search and analytics engines, large scale document databases as well as messaging systems to design and build event-driven real-time container state tracking applications.
• Build and deploy applications on container orchestration engines such as Kubernetes, Nomad, Vault, and Consul in conjunction with Azure and AKS and GCP
• Work extensively with open-source software. You may even modify or extend code maintained as part of an open-source project.
• Work independently and contribute to a large team delivering solutions to the meet the needs of BNYs technology teams supporting all the firms lines of business.
  
  

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following:

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 5-7 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• Collaborate with development teams in reviewing the containerized applications architecture and onboarding in-house and vendor software components/tools on to the cluster compute and ensure compliance with BNY standards and best practice
• Must have experience in ArgoCD or Flux, Helm/Kustomize, Prometheus based monitoring, Ansible, Terraform and CI/CD automation.
• Must have strong knowledge of Linux system internals, storage networking fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and be open-minded to develop, learn and work within a professional, team-oriented setting
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and industry trends for security hardening, observability, and platform availability
