Job Description

The Technology Support and Requirements Manager will be responsible for providing technical

support and gathering requirements for technology solutions used by the Center. This role

involves ensuring the effective use of digital tools, supporting event technology needs, and

collaborating with the internal teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance

program delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support,

requirements analysis, and event management.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

  • Provide technical assistance to external members and internal teams regarding

the use of digital tools and platforms.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and

event technology.

2. Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to identify technology needs and

requirements for various programs being run by the Center.

  • Document and analyze requirements to ensure that technology solutions align

with program objectives.

3. Event Technology Management:

  • Support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events by managing

audio-visual equipment and online platforms.

  • Ensure that all technology used during events is functioning properly and meets

the needs of participants.

4. Training and Support:

  • Conduct training sessions for internal and external members on the effective use

of technology and digital tools.

  • Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate the onboarding of new

users.

5. Vendor Coordination:

  • Liaise with technology vendors and service providers to secure necessary

equipment and services for events and program activities.


  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance program efficiency

and effectiveness.

6. Feedback and Improvement:

  • Collect feedback from users regarding technology tools and support services to

identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare reports on technology usage and support activities for the program

manager.

7. Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in technology relevant to

education and event management.

  • Recommend new tools and technologies that could benefit the Centers

programs.


Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Event

Management, or a related field.


• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, requirements analysis, or

a related role.

  • Experience in managing technology for events and familiarity with online event

platforms is preferred.


• Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in audio-visual equipment, event management software, and digital

collaboration tools.

  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
