Job Title: Business Development manager - Sports

Location: Gurgaon / Delhi

Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic, strategic, sales and entrepreneurial individual to join our team as a

Business Development Manager - Sports.

This position will focus on establishing and growing a corporate Sports vertical within the organization,

creating contacts with high-net-worth individual (HNI) / companies, client network, organizing

competitions and events to establish BLS Sports in Sports area.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for sports, client relationship

development, finding national, & international Sports sponsors. Creating, designing, & managing

events.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

• Plan Set up, design, & Management: Lead the design, setup, and implementation of the sports

program.

2. Client Relationship Management & Networking

• HNI Client Network Development / Companies: Establish and maintain a network of high-net-

worth individuals (HNI clients) who are interested in participating in the companys pickle ball

activities or using the facilities for private play.

• Engagement: Build strong, lasting relationships with HNI clients to foster their continued

involvement in the program and ensure they feel valued.

• Exclusive Offerings: Develop exclusive pickle ball events, tournaments, or private sessions

tailored to the interests and needs of HNI clients, positioning the company as a premier

destination for pickle ball enthusiasts.

3. Sports Competitions & Event Planning

• Competitive Events: Lead the planning and execution of events/ competitions, tournaments,

and events that engage both employees and external HNI clients.

• Event Strategy & Promotion: Design and market high-quality, high-profile events that increase

the visibility of the company’s pickle ball program, attract new clients, and enhance

relationships with existing clients.


• Partnerships & Sponsorships: Seek out and secure sponsorships or partnerships with local

organizations, brands, and other pickle ball-related businesses to enhance event experiences

and increase program exposure.

4. Program Growth & Brand Ambassador

• Promotion of the Game: Be an ambassador for the sport of pickle ball, both within the

organization and externally, encouraging widespread adoption and participation.

• Strategic Planning: Develop a long-term vision for growing the pickle ball program, both in

terms of employee engagement and HNI client involvement.

• Feedback & Improvement: Continuously assess the effectiveness of pickle ball offerings,

gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders to improve the program and events.


Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or related field

(preferred).

• Experience:

  • Proven track record of managing sports programs, building client networks, and

organizing events.

  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals or corporate clients is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pickle ball or other racquet sports is highly preferred but not required.

• Skills:

  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal employees and external clients.
  • Exceptional organizational and event planning abilities, including managing multiple

stakeholders and vendors.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to market and

promote events effectively.

  • Proficiency in managing budgets, timelines, and resources for events and programs.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and engage a wide audience.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules and client needs, including some

evenings or weekends.

• Comfortable working in both corporate office settings and external venues for events and

tournaments.


Physical Requirements:


• Ability to engage in or oversee physical activities, including leading pickleball practices and

events.

• Comfortable with some physical labor, including setting up equipment for events and practice

sessions.
