BLG Construction Services is seeking to hire a Senior Project Coordinator for key infrastructure consultancy projects in Prayagraj, Agra, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, and Bareilly. These projects are part of flagship schemes of the Government of India, such as the Jal Jeevan Mission and AMRUT 2.0, as well as initiatives by the municipal corporations of Agra, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur.
Reports to: Managing Director
Location : Noida/ Jodhpur
Essential Requirements
1. Education: Postgraduate degree in any field of Civil Engineering (e.g., Structural, Transportation, Water Resources, Environmental etc) or Masters in Project Management/Construction Management.
2. Experience: Minimum 15 years' of experience in civil engineering consultancy and project management, or a related field.
3. Government Experience: Proven experience working with government departments, including knowledge of government regulations, policies, and procedures.
4. Skills: Excellent project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination: Coordinate civil engineering consultancy projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
2. Government Liaison: Liaise with government departments, including responding to queries, addressing concerns, and providing project updates.
3. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify delays, and develop recovery plans to ensure timely completion.
4. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage project budgets, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
5. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on civil engineering consultancy projects.
6. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor team members to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
7. Business Development: Assist in business development activities, including proposal writing, client meetings, and market research.
